Looking for coupons is my Chosen "Site" of the Day. There are many sites that carry coupons or promo codes and my favorite one is RetailMeNot. They seem to be the most current and usable coupons or codes.
When you are looking for a specific item on the Internet and have decided where you want to purchase it, do a Google search and see if you can find a coupon.
For instance, if I find fabric at fabric.com, I will Google "fabric.com coupon" and there will be a list of websites that offer coupons or promo codes. When you go to check out, there should be a place to put a coupon code. Type that code in and the shopping cart will deduct the amount if the coupon is current.
I have successfully used coupon or promo codes for fabric.com and Nancy's Notions as well as others. You can sign up for emails so they will tell you when a new coupon or promo code is added.
This can be done for anything that you purchase on the Internet -- not just for quilting/crafting supplies. I always find discount codes for HP ink and toner. The last 2 laptops that I purchased had big coupons like $250 or $350 off at HP. Again, just do a Google search for "HP coupons."
