Virtual Bernina Classes at Sew Original

I have agreed to teach the Virtual Bernina classes at Sew Original starting the last Tuesday in April from 6 to 8 pm.  The first one will be Zippy Strippy Organizers from an Atkinson pattern.

Different sewing techniques are highlighted and this one is bobbin work.

Here is the sample that will be in the store.  The patterns are three different sizes.  Easy and quick to make.

The heavy thread such as Candlelight is loaded onto a bobbin and is sewn from the wrong side.  Here is sewing from the wrong side with the heavy thread in the bobbin.

This picture is the actual stitch from the right side.  I have a Bernina 830 and had to make an adjustment on the bobbin case.  Other machines have separate bobbin cases that will allow you to do bobbin work.

Here's the link to the newsletter.  The class is $10.  You will watch a 45 min video and get a CD with files and instructions on it.  The videos are produced by Bernina and can only be seen at a Bernina store.  They are similar to the Software Sampler and Embroidery Club.   Come join me!
